In today’s review, we are going to have a look at the new shoes from Elyts, and determine whether they are what they appear to be.
Elys sent me these shoes around the time they came on the market. At that time I had no idea how big the difference could be between a shoe from Elyts and a regular Nike shoe.

Both shoes are in the same price range. Nike offers a regular shoe without any extras. Elyts, however, is stepping up the game with a shoe that offers extra padding, shock absorption and heel support.

The shoe is really durable. They still feel like almost new after a month of extensive wear. It might feel a little weird when untied, but when worn with tied shoelaces, it becomes the ultimate shoe. The sole is really grippy. It makes a 360 a lot easier.

It provides a lot of heel support, so you don´t have to worry about the shoe slipping off. They might get a little warm when not worn for riding only, especially in hot weather, which is the only con for wearing these shoes on an everyday basis.
Verdict:
They hold up really well considering the fact that they are constantly rubbing against the griptape. They hold their shape unbelievably well, and therefore won’t allow any foot injury.
The only con is, that the shoe gets dirty really easily. But if you are not going through mud, it’s totally ok.
